We are a licensed Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code (UDC) dwelling code construction inspector and use the Wisconsin Department of Commerce Manufactured Home Installation Manual for Manufactured Homes Produced on or After April 1, 2007 installation manual revised February 19, 2009. We also are a HUD registered inspector (H886) and will be able to help those needing this type of inspection.
We offer discounts if a request for a HUD Foundation Inspection is performed as part of our Standard Home Inspection. It is important to remember that a home inspection IS NOT a code inspection. In other words, a home inspection is NOT an inspection to verify whether an improvement to residential real property or a component of an improvement to residential real property complies with applicable regulatory requirements per Wisconsin Statutes 444.975 (4) (e).
Not every home inspector holds the credentials to perform this additional service. We offer this service since we hold the credentials as a Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code Inspector (1028896) and HUD Inspector (H886) and this type of inspection is an additional service we can provide to our clients when requested.
