Commercial Property Inspections
Commercial inspections include all buildings that are not four (4) dwelling units or less or classified as mixed-use properties. We have the training and expertise necessary to perform your commercial inspection in accordance with ASTM E2018-01 Standards. This ensures the inspection is recognized by commercial lenders and insurance providers.
Commercial properties require a different type of inspection and are individually tailored to suit the user’s needs. All commercial inspections are customizable, and a scope of work will be developed prior to the inspection. This guarantees that your expectations are clearly defined and met.
The objective of the inspection is to visually observe the subject property to:
- Identify observable physical deficiencies
- Provide a brief description of building systems and components
- Gather information needed for the Inspection Report
While typically only a single site visit is required, larger or more complex properties may necessitate multiple visits. The requirements will be mutually agreed upon between the Inspector/Consultant and the Client/User.
Basic Commercial Inspection
This service is designed for buildings without poly-phase electrical service and with standard heating systems (forced air, hot water, or steam) under 200,000 BTU/Hr of input capacity. It typically applies to smaller buildings and involves one site visit.
Note: ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance reviews are not included by default but can be added upon request.
