Payment is due on or before completion of the on-site inspection and prior to delivery of the inspection report.
Scope of the Inspection
The inspection is performed in accordance with the Wisconsin Home Inspection Standards of Practice (SPS 131) .
The inspection includes a representative evaluation of accessible:

Electrical, plumbing, heating, and air-conditioning systems

The inspection is not technically exhaustive and does not include concealed or inaccessible areas.
Limitations

Does not determine insurability or code compliance

Does not predict future conditions

Does not include environmental testing unless specifically ordered
Latent or hidden defects may exist and are not the responsibility of the Inspector.
Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:

Read the inspection report in its entirety

Contact the Inspector with questions or concerns

Allow the Inspector to re-inspect reported concerns prior to repairs
Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from the inspection or report shall be resolved in accordance with Wisconsin law through small claims court or binding arbitration, as applicable.
Third-Party Reliance
The inspection report is prepared solely for the Client. No third party may rely on the report without written authorization.
No Warranties
The inspection and report do not constitute a warranty, guarantee, or insurance policy.
Entire Agreement
This sample represents the general terms used in the inspection agreement. The executed agreement provided to the Client governs the inspection.
