Infra-Red Thermography

In 2013 we are starting a new level of inspection services including Infra-red thermography. This new technology if a far better diagnostic tool over the naked eye and under the correct conditions will find anomalies that otherwise could not be seen. It cannot guarantee 100$ accuracy unless removal of components can occurr to validate findings. Whenever possible, other non-destructive methods like moisture probing are used to confirm what the camera is telling us. This is not X-Ray vision, infra-red thermography can reveal not only defects like water intrusion, but can also show areas where energy is being wasted. Be sure to ask how thermal imaging can bring your home inspection into the 21st century.
